Well, it's people trying to sell them for 4-5K plus. How much they actually sell is debatable, especially since the vast majority of the pauldrons are going to be major runes anyway.

I've sold about 60 Pauldrons in the last week here on Guru and every single one of them have sold for 6K each. I usually sell in groups of 10-20. You can search under my name and see the actual threads in the high-end/sell forums.

If you're a serious buyer looking for bulk orders, PM in-game and we can work something out. Otherwise, good luck finding them for the prices you're wanting to pay.
